Citizen security crisis

The problem in citizen security was observed by Congresswoman Susel Paredes during her departure from an event in Trujillo.

“I have never experienced this situation in Lima except during the time of terrorism, when you didn’t know if you were going to return home. Now look, I live in Linace; two grenades have been thrown at a hostel. I’m not talking to you about a human settlement. They have asked for space at a soup kitchen, and a poor motorcycle taxi driver who did not pay 7 soles has been killed sitting on his motorcycle. And this minister says he wants to hold dialogue tables. What he has to do to fight against it.racketeeringis to keep your mouth shut, work in secret and infiltrate thecriminal organizations“, he stated.

Among the questions that were asked, the lack of work of the Executive and the responsibility of theCongressdue to the lack of laws. to whichSusel ParedesHe responded that there would not be a shortage, but rather a surplus.

“The minister doesn’t even know. He says that the penalty for extortion must be increased; the maximum penalty for extortion is life imprisonment. What is going to increase? Look,He is a lawyer and has not read the Penal Code“, he added.

Paredes concluded his statement hoping that Santiváñez will be censured for the situation in the capital of Peru, and ended by saying: “We should not even listen to his answers anymore because the facts say that the minister is of no use.”
