Former president and presidential candidate Martín Torrijos Espino received today the admission of his candidacy by the opposition Popular Party (PP) and the Bulletin of the Electoral Tribunal (TE) where his candidacy is made official.
This admission was delivered to Torrijos Espino by César Espinoza, from the PP Electoral Ethics Tribunal;
Daniel Brea, president of the collective; and Cirilo Salas, Secretary General.
Former President Martín Torrijos Espino leads a citizen participation campaign where he has reiterated that “Panama needs a leadership that transforms and calls on our society to unite, reach agreements and establish a common project.”
His presidential candidacy will be ratified by the Popular Party on July 16, 2023 through an extraordinary National Congress.
