Martha Aurora, a young pregnant woman who disappeared in NL, is found lifeless

Personnel from the Institute of Criminalistics and Expert Services, together with elements of the State Investigation Agency, found the remains of the young women in a house in the Nuevo Progreso neighborhood, in General Escobedo.

The bodies of the women were found after searching the property on November 30, confirmed the prosecutor’s office through an informative note.

Both Martha Aurora and Claudia died from strangulation asphyxiation, the agency detailed.

Due to these facts, the Special Prosecutor for Feminicide and Crimes against Women brought the case.

Claudia’s body was handed over to her relatives on December 4, 2022 and the body of Martha Aurora and the baby that remained in her womb will be handed over, the prosecution said.

“The investigation folder initiated by the Agent of the Public Ministry attached to the State Investigation and Litigation Unit Specialized in Femicide remains active, in the integration stage and with an investigation in process,” he added.
