Marta Lucía Ramírez responds to controversy over a greeting photo from Francia Márquez to female workers

This Friday the joint meeting of the Vice Presidency of the Republic was held. At the end of the meeting that lasted just over an hour, Francia Márquez pointed out that the work to come “It will not be easy for being a woman, just like Vice President Marta Lucía Ramírez and for being a black woman.”

For her part, Vice President Martha Lucia Ramirezadded that “all Colombians must be willing to support the success of the incoming government, those of us who love Colombia well, the only thing that interests us is that they do well, we do not have, in my personal case, any political or bureaucratic aspirations”.

Although there was a cordial atmosphere between the two officials, on social networks, the former Senate candidate and follower of Gustavo Petro’s campaign, Gilberto Tobón, ignited the controversy in networks for publishing a photo in which Márquez is seen greeting the domestic service workers while Ramírez seems to ignore them.

“Pedagogy on the importance of equality from the joint”, wrote Tobón.
