With 82% rejection, according to an international consulting firm, Mario Abdo Benítez stands out as the president with the greatest disapproval of Latin America. The political degradation of the country reinforces the negative and destructive image attributed to it.
Real Time Data Corp., a consulting firm that measures the pulse of public opinion in Latin America, drew up a ranking of the leaders of the American region who have a greater or lesser rejection. It was made up of 20 presidents of the continent and the highest authority of Paraguay, Mario A. Benítez is in the last position, with 18% approval, compared to 82% disapproval.
The list is led by the Salvadoran president, Nayib Bukele, with 71% approval, compared to 29% disapproval; It is followed by Andrés López Obrador, from Mexico, with 66% compared to 31%; then there is Luis Abinader, from the Dominican Republic, with 65% compared to 35%; Luis Lacalle Pou, from Uruguay, with 61% versus 35% and Luis Arce, from Bolivia, with 47% versus 46%.
Beyond the requirements analyzed for the elaboration of the ranking, something is very clear through it: the first president of Paraguay continues to represent the most questioned, disapproved and negative, now not only at the national level, but also internationally.

“To this is also added the bad image that the ministers of the Court give us, who declare themselves immovable, distorting the National Constitution; the Ponzi scheme that reinforces our level of disapproval, as well as having politicians like the González Daher and others who still have their inauguration, despite having abused their constitutional powers, ”Estigarribia sentenced.
For the expert, this disastrous figure represented by Paraguay, unfortunately, is well earned, despite the fact that the majority of its citizens are healthy and honest, since its political representation is terrible.
“The institutional degradation in which Paraguay finds itself puts us at the levels of countries that have suffered natural catastrophes and bloody dictatorships such as Haiti because the numbers put us, practically at the level of a failed state,” he stressed.
DEFICIENCIES THAT ADD
From the point of view of Estigarribia, all the degradation that already exists is serious because the very shortcomings of the national territory reinforce the country’s submission to total decline: there is no good public health, there is no adequate public education and there is no adequate social security system.
“Besides, the pandemic has shown the people that here a lot is stolen and little is given to the people. For this reason, in the face of such a worn-out image, so much negativity and disapproval, Marito only has to stay slightly in his government, trying to manage the country as best he can until 2023 ”, the analyst highlighted.
Another striking fact in the Real Time Data Corp. ranking is the number of leaders with a left tendency located in the top positions, even more so with Nayib Bukele, who represents a decentralized youth sector of the traditional parties.
