The President of the Republic, Dina Boluartewill decorate tonight the Nobel Prize for Literature, Mario Vargas Llosawith the Grand Collar of the Order of the Sun of Peruin a ceremony to be held at 8:00 pm at the Government Palace headquarters, reported from the Presidency of the Republic.
The award-winning novelist from Arequipa recently entered the French Language Academya milestone as he was the first Spanish-speaking writer to join the institution founded by Cardinal Richelieu.
Through a letter, the Head of State congratulated the writer for said recognition and pointed out that “recognizes its universal value in the world of letters and fills all Peruvians with pride”. At that time, the office was shared by the Presidency on her Twitter account.
“ANDThis recognition adds to the many that he has received in his long career as the author of magnificent novels and stories largely inspired by Peru.as well as his solid essay production that has renewed the approach to French writers and thinkers and those from other latitudes”, pointed out Boluarte.
“I wish you the greatest success in the tasks of contributing to the duty of this institution in the improvement of the french language, a task that adds to the one you have been doing for decades with the Spanish language as a member of the Peruvian Academy of Language and the Royal Spanish Academy. We celebrate for all this that the French Academy can now have him among its immortals”, he added.

After the president congratulated the Nobel Prize for Literature for his incorporation into the French Language Academy, Vargas Llosa sent a letter to Dina Boluarte in which he showed his support for said management, despite the deaths that occurred in the protests.
“I am pleased to inform you that in two recent columns I have supported your induction into the presidency, which, strictly speaking, has been done in compliance with the law. You have been carrying out your position in a very valuable way, with the support of a significant number of Peruvians. Allow me to congratulate you for that too,” wrote the Peruvian Hispanic.
“I believe that, despite that agitation, as I mentioned, you have proceeded, in the performance of that high magistracyin a fair manner in application of Peruvian regulations,” added the writer from Arequipa.
