The Minister of Labor and Employment, Luiz Marinho, defended again, on Thursday (25), the end of scale 6 by 1, during an interview with the program Good morning, ministerproduced by Channel Gov. At the time, Marinho pointed out that the pressure of the people, through manifestations, as happened with the proposal of amendment to the Constitution (PEC) of the armor, whose filing was only possible thanks to popular mobilization. 
For the minister, this type of action will be fundamental to end the one who, according to him, is “the most cruel of scales”, in which the worker is entitled to only one weekly rest day. France, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Iceland are some of the countries that have implemented or are implemented by lower than 6 by 1 or 44 hours per week.
Marinho suggested to voters to accompany positioning the current parliamentarians in the National Congress on the subject, to know “who deserves to have their mandate renewed and who deserves to be replaced” in the next elections.

Cruel
“Scale 6 by 1 is, in fact, the cruel one, especially for women. So the time is to renew,” said the minister to remember that several countries have already extinguished this type of workday.

The proposal to change the 6 by 1 scale is being processed in the National Congress which, according to him, usually has other priorities, not necessarily in favor of workers.

Luiz Marinho said he cheered that mobilizations and demonstrations such as the contrary to amnesty and the armor of parliamentarians continue.
