According to Saez, there will be incentives for those who acquire electric vehicles. There are going to be certain taxes that they will not have to pay. The commercialization of the recharging of these vehicles will be authorized, he specified.

The expert in commercial transportation, Marilleny Saez, addressed the issue of Bill 162 on electric mobility in Panama, indicating that we have to break paradigms, and one of those changes that we have already seen in previous years is the use of bicycles for deliveries of short journeys, however, the use of electric vehicles is now being added to the logistics chain.

He stated that said bill defines goals to replace everything that is official fleets and public transport in the first place, “as to encourage and be the State the promoter of electric mobilization in the country.”

According to Saez, there will be incentives for those who acquire electric vehicles. “There are going to be certain taxes that they are not going to have to pay. The commercialization of the recharging of these vehicles is going to be authorized, ”he specified.
