Presidential candidate Maribel Gordón achieved the highest number of votes in a non-scientific simulation of the LGBTIQ community and reached 48% of voting intentions; while Ricardo Lombana achieved 25%.
Gordon’s wide advantage is due to the fact that during the signing of the Pact for the human rights of LGBTIQ People, the only one who responded to the call made to the presidential candidates was the running mate of the candidate of the “Plan for a Dignified Life”, Richard Morales. The other candidates abstained from signing this electoral pact.
The result places Martín Torrijos in third place in voting intentions with 6%, José Gabriel Carrizo and José Raúl Mulino tie with 5%, as do Zulay Rodríguez, Rómulo Roux and Melitón Arrocha with 3% each.
