Mariano González: Congressional Oversight Commission will summon him for Friday, July 22

The Oversight Commission of the Congress of the Republic will summon the former Minister of the Interior for next Friday, July 22.

Through his Twitter account, he indicated that the decision was adopted after the abrupt retirement of González as head of the Ministry of the Interior and after the complaints against the president peter castle.

“After being removed from office and in the face of serious complaints made today by the former Minister of the Interior, Mariano González, the commission will summon him for this Friday, July 22”indicated the congressional working group.

It should be noted that the president announced the departure of Mariano González as head of the Ministry of the Interior and Willy Huerta Olivas was sworn in as his successor in office.

As recalled, the outgoing head of the Ministry said that he has no “no doubt” of the commitment that Castillo Terrones has “with corruption”.

In statements to Panamericana Televisión, he indicated that the head of state is seeking “obstruct justice” because it would be preventing the work of the police intelligence to find the whereabouts of the fugitives Bruno Pacheco, Juan Silva and Fray Vasquez Castillonephew of Castillo Terrones.

“I have no doubt of the commitment that the man has with corruption and I have no doubt that this abrupt departure has to do with obstructing the administration of justice”he expressed.

“I think it is obstructing justice because it is preventing the work of specialized intelligence agents from searching for fugitives for reasons that the public should know about”he added.
