Arana’s wake will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Monday in the atrium of the Municipality of Montevideo

This Monday, between morning and afternoon, the the farewell of Mariano Aranathe former mayor of Montevideo who passed away this Sunday at the age of 90.
The 90-year-old leader was mayor of Montevideo during two periods (1994-2005). He was also Minister of Housing (2005-2008) and senator (1990-2004) and (2008-2015). Between 2015 and 2020 he was elected and served as mayor of Montevideo.
As reported by the Broad Front in a statement, Arana’s wake will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Monday in the in the atrium of the Municipality of Montevideo.
After that, the funeral procession will take place, which will have two “brief” stops at the Seregni footprintheadquarters of the Broad Front, and in the Architecture facuilty.
Finally, the burial will take place at 16 hours in the Diving Cemeterydetailed the Front in its statement.
