In the video, the opposition leader María Corina Machado expressed “that we Venezuelans are no longer the same, the years of scarcity and hunger made us more generous than ever, the acts of injustice and evil taught us to value the right thing to do.” Well, we are much better, braver, more generous” and indicated that they will soon meet in the streets
María Corina Machado sent a Christmas message this Tuesday, December 24. The opposition leader expressed that she will soon be in the streets alongside Venezuelans and recalled that the country has the right to choose.
“I ask that tonight we be aware of the enormous power that as a people we have unleashed. With every minute that passes evil dissolves before our eyesand more Venezuelans take the step. See you very soon, in the streets of our beloved country. Happy Christmas Eve”, with that phrase he accompanied a video on the social network X.
Machado became the leader of this year’s electoral process and although disqualified from competing in the elections, she achieved an alliance with Edmundo González Urrutia to confront Nicolás Maduro. The data collected by the opposition show González Urrutia as the winner of the elections with 70% of the votes, meanwhile the National Electoral Council continues without showing the minutes that validate the triumph of the Chavismo ruling party for more than 25 years.
In the video, the opponent also expressed, “Precisely because of everything that is happening, we have to keep our hearts high and turn this very harsh reality into the most powerful reason to continue until the end. Of course we Venezuelans are no longer the same“The years of scarcity and hunger made us more generous than ever, the acts of injustice and evil taught us to value what is right and to do good, we are much better, braver, more generous.”

Machado, in relation to the July 28 elections, indicated that the Venezuelan population has the “sacred right” to choose their destiny. “That’s how we did it and now we will respect it, the only thing missing is for some who are still afraid to do good to lose all fear of doing so,” he noted.
In a series of messages that the founder of the political organization Vente Venezuela, with the largest number of imprisoned activists, has already made in the past, she encouraged people to “take the step and do the right thing.” “Let’s see how every minute that passes the evil dissolves in our eyes, we are getting closer to that change, which we long for and deserve.”
