Politician María Corina Machado anticipates that there will be “broad and participatory” primaries and says that voting abroad must be stimulated

The coordinator of the political organization Sell VenezuelaMaría Corina Machado, considers that the more people participate in the primaries, both inside and outside the country, “it will be much better” because that is how voting abroad is promoted through a manual vote, which in her opinion is the spirit of the process

Machado, who spoke with his followers in Miami via Zoom during a virtual forum organized by Vente Venezuela of Florida and the Adam Smith Center of Florida International University (FIU), believes that the presidential elections scheduled to be held in 2024 represent the “last chance » for Venezuela to have a change in the country’s administration and called for massive mobilization to participate in the primaries.

For this reason, he anticipates that there will be “broad and participatory” primaries in which “responsibility before History will prevail.”

María Corina Machado emphasized that the feeling of change in Venezuela is total, since there are people who were related to the ruling party and are currently joining the teams of their political organization; her at the same time that she believes that the change has to do with a new relationship between the State and its citizens and not only aesthetic.

For Machado, who said she has three children outside the country and that if something lifts her up “is to fight for change,” Venezuelans living abroad are extremely important in these primaries.
