During her speech, Maria Corina thanked all the women of Venezuela, including mothers and grandmothers, many of whom have children far from the country. She promised: “We will seal the return of our children home.”
He denounced the increase in repression in recent hours, saying that the government of Nicolás Maduro has blocked roads and arrested innocent people. “All this is proof that they know they have already lost,” he said.
He called on citizens to go out and vote as early as possible on Sunday, July 28, and to remain at the polling stations until the final count. He reiterated that they had never been so prepared to defend each vote, and stressed the importance of each person making their will count on that day.

Machado also expressed her gratitude to the members and leaders of the various political parties who have collaborated in this campaign, as well as to the students and nurses.
He especially recognized the “Comanditos Motorizados” (Motorized Commandos), who have acted as protective shields for the Venezuelan people during the electoral process.
In addition, Machado did not forget to mention the political prisoners, emphasizing the situation of the union leader Régulo Reina and the president of the Un Nuevo Tiempo (UNT) party in Monagas, Ángel Aristimuño, who were arbitrarily detained in recent days. He added that the return of democracy will also mean the release of all those unjustly imprisoned.
