notistarz– The VEE-Fauna Foundation of the artist María Conchita Alonso, will organize the auction Who Gives More? in this city on May 6 to raise funds in support of abandoned pets in Venezuela.
At the event, the vintage furniture where María Conchita parted with “many family memories of her life in Venezuela, furniture, ornaments and objects from her mother and grandmother, loaded with great sentimental value and tricolor DNA” will be auctioned, “said a statement of the foundation.
“The auction is with the objective of raising funds to continue bringing food and medical care to many defenseless and vulnerable animals in that beautiful country,” said the foundation.
This event is “to contribute and alleviate the hardship of shelters, refuges, humble families and homeless pet adopters who only seek to give them a better life,” added the foundation of the Cuban-Venezuelan-American artist.
The auction is aimed at “the whole family including four-legged members.” There will be games, puppy adoption, food and music by DJ Jean Carlo Espinoza.
Gabriela Vergara will be “the furniture auctioneer and there will be tastings of Venezuelan food from “Punto Criollo”, “Zona Tequeños”, Spanish food from “Kerry’s Paella” and Japanese from “Miyako Doral”, among others.
