María Carolina Uzcátegui affirmed that primaries are maintained for #22Oct

María Carolina Uzcátegui, vice president of the CP, urged young people to be more active in demanding their political rights ahead of the primaries


The vice president of the National Primary Commission (PC), María Carolina Uzcátegui, affirmed that the “self-managed” primaries became plan A for the organizers of the process and that the date of their completion remains for October 22.

«The self-managed primary, which was our Plan B, is now our Plan A: ‘A’ of self-managed, ‘A’
to move forward, ‘A’ to embrace the desire for change,” he said.

Uzcátegui, who was in the state of Mérida, reiterated the commitment of those who were interested in working for the holding of the primaries to have the unitary candidate in a sector of the country’s opposition.

“This enormous and beautiful task of taking the first step towards the recovery of democracy. It is not the last, it is not the only one, many more will come, but this commitment that we have today must continue until Venezuela is completely free and democratic,” said the vice president of the CP.

Similarly, he urged young people to be more active in demanding their political rights and called on them to claim them, but always in a peaceful and democratic manner.

“That they get active, that they go to the CNE every week to demand the opening of the Electoral Registry, that they insist, insist and insist. That they coordinate with other students from other states. These actions have an impact, ”he said according to a press release.

For her part, the vice president of the Regional Primary Board of the state of Mérida, Luzmila Trujillo, stated that Venezuelans are called to be free and that this is the will with which they are working to continue with the training of volunteers who will accompany the primaries. .

For this reason, he urged those who attended the CP events in the Andean entity to contribute their grain of sand to carry out said primaries and make the real fight for a democratic, productive country of progress and opportunities.
