The Municipality of Santiago de Surco will report to the Parliamentary Ethics Commission the congresswoman from Alliance for Progress (APP), Maria Acuña Peraltadue to the aggression suffered by municipal workers from her husband Elmer Díaz Bravo.
The events were recorded on Friday afternoon when the council servants were carrying out work in park 17 of Los Álamos de Monterrico, part of which is occupied by the home of the legislator, who has so far refused to return the land to the commune.
According to information provided by the Municipality of Surco, people close to the congresswoman, including her husband, pushed, threatened and threw several bricks and iron from the second floor of the building.
“Given this serious situation, the Municipality of Surco will present a complaint to the Ethics Commission of the Congress of the Republic against Congresswoman María Acuña for inappropriate conduct in her environment, which denigrates the parliamentary investiture and undermines the principle of respect for local authority,” the municipality indicated.
Along these lines, he pointed out that the complaint in question will be formalized by the Municipal Public Prosecutor’s Office for the crimes of violence and resistance to authority and attempted homicide.
And María Acuña Peralta, sister of the owner of APP, César Acuña, refuses to return to the municipality the entire land she illegally occupies. At the time, the commune established that it was a total of 118 square meters of which the legislator has subsequently only returned a part, leaving 66 square meters still missing.
It should be remembered that after these events became known, journalistic information reported that Acuña also invaded a public space in the district of Pimentel, Chiclayo, of about 150 square meters, in 2022. However, upon being notified that the case would be disseminated again through the media, she ordered its demolition.
