Margarita: "This government has exchanged education money for political propaganda"

Santo Domingo.- The former Vice President of the Republic and presidential candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Margarita Cedeño, affirmed that in a education of quality is that rests the economic development of a country.

“Through education we achieve sustainable and comprehensive human growth. Form a human capital that is capable of moving forward the economic development of our country”, Cedeno said.

The former Vice President of the Republic expressed: “President Abinader Corona demonstrates once again that he does not know how to govern, this time in the educational sector.”

Via his Twitter account, Cedenostressed the non-execution of the current government of more than 4 billion pesos in Education, and the arrest of the advances made in the PLD governments with the construction of campuses, school lunch and extended session.

He concluded by recalling the achievement of society in fighting to allocate 4% of GDP to education “that no politician can turn back. Education should not be subject to the whims of changing governments”.
