Miami.- The Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubiohe lashed out on Tuesday against the regimes of Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela, which he described as “enemies of humanity.” According to Rubio, these dictatorships are main responsible for the migration crisis that affects the western hemisphere.
During a press conference in San José, reviewed by The EFE agency The high US official said that government models in these three countries have caused the mass exodus of its citizens. “If it were not for these regimes, there would be no migration crisis in the hemisphere,” said Rubio who was accompanied by the president of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Chav. The American politician stressed that authoritarian policies and the collapse of their economies have pushed millions of people to seek refuge in other nations.
In particular, Rubio harshly criticized the Government of Nicaragua, which he accused of having become a “family dynasty” with a power structure that has marginalized key institutions, such as the Catholic Church and other religious actors.
Since 2007, the Central American country is governed by Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega and his wife Rosario Murillo, recently designated as “co -president.” The tyranny unleashed by this couple has taken thousands of Nicaraguans to flee, while those left in the country are repressed.
Rubio, son of Cubans, knows the situation on the island and assured that the same phenomenon occurs in Cuba and his replica, Venezuela. The citizens of the three countries flee from political systems that “do not work,” he said categorically.
In contrast to these countries, Rubio highlighted the case of Costa Rica as a model of stability and development in the region. «There are more Americans here than Costa Ricans in the United States. This is a clear example of what happens when a country does things well, unlike those regimes, ”he concluded.
Rubio will not dialogue with the Cuban dictatorship

Until that changes, I have no reason to dialogue with them. ”
