Bolivian Marco Bulacia was on the podium at the Estonian Rally, eighth date of the World Rally Championship, which ended this Sunday. The driver, who competes in the WRC2 Challenger category, took second place in the overall standings.
The man from Santa Cruz, who runs in a Skoda car and with the Spanish Diego Vallejo as a navigator, He did a time of two hours and 48 minutes exactly.
The winner of the category was the Finn Sami Pajari, that stopped the clock at 2:46:07”; and the podium was completed by the Polish Miko Marczyk in third place with a time of 2h48’20”.
“Final, we are second lords!… A weekend of revenge! Last year we finished ‘upside down’ two stages from the end and leading. This year we started the same at Shakedown (thanks @toksportwrt for getting us back on track) and we ended up getting our third consecutive podium of the season”, published Marco Bulacia on his social networks.
The beginning was not encouraging for the Bolivian representative in this rally, because in the Shakedown, on Thursday, he overturned his machine in a curve (see video at the end of the note), but he was able to continue in the race.
Mark’s younger brother Bruno Bulacia, was in sixth position because he suffered various mishaps and was penalized. He finished with a time of 2h58’04”.
