The largest PNP (r) Marco Antonio Castro Renwickmember of the historic Special Intelligence Group (GEIN) of the Dircote of the National Police of Peru, died leaving an indelible legacy in the defense of democracy and the security of the country.
Recognized as a Hero of Democracy, he dedicated his life to the service of Peru in the most difficult years of our history, acting with honor, courage and intelligence.
Castro Renwick was part of the Special Intelligence Groupa strategic unit of the Dircote whose work was decisive in the defeat of terrorism.
His silent work and unwavering commitment to the rule of law contributed decisively to restoring a horizon of peace and freedom to the country.
The Minister expressed his condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Major PNP (r) Marco Antonio Castro Renwick, member of the historic Special Intelligence Group (GEIN) of the Dircote of the National Police of Peru and Hero of Democracy.
“Honor and glory! His brave service in the fight against terrorism contributed decisively to the defense of democracy and peace in the country. His legacy of dedication, honor and commitment to Peru will remain as an example for current and future generations,” the publication reads.
