What ‘Great National March’ is being called the main mobilization against the government of Gustavo Petro. The demonstrations, according to their organizers, will take place in different cities of the country and the world, Miami, New York and Mexico City, this Monday, September 26 from 10 am.
The spokesman for the protests is businessman Pierre Onzaga, who leads this citizen initiative against the reforms proposed by the government of Gustavo Petro.
“One of the objectives of this Great National March is to draw a red line so that the reforms are withdrawn, we are not seeking any negotiation”, affirms his spokesman.
And it is precisely that they are the different reforms proposed by the National Government, especially the tax reform, those who have motivated this day.
Onzaga is recognized for leading the 2008 march against the FARC that brought more than 12 million Colombians to the streets.
“This September 26, at 10 in the morning, the turn in the streets is, more than for the opposition parties to the Government, for all citizens in general. This is a nonpartisan citizen movement, without a flag or label, that seeks to defend the interests of the country in general.“, Ozaga said.
It is worth remembering that several sectors consider that, if the Petro reforms are approved, they could generate effects on the Colombian economy.
