The march that calls for the signing of an agreement between the Government and ABC for the construction of the Km13-Tres Cruces-Buena Vista highwayis already in Santa Cruz and arrived this Tuesday at the gates of the Santa Cruz Governorate.

The leaders who spoke stated that this road will benefit the entire department and not just the “towns on the other side of the river””, they indicated that this road will ease the high-tonnage traffic of the capital and that it will connect people who come from the Pacific Ocean side to the Atlantic and vice versa.

From the Government they indicated that the Governor remains in the meeting with the mayors of the department, which began in the morning and that has not yet announced if he will meet with the marchers or if they will deal with the issue within the points that the municipalities have asked to address, among which, precisely, are roads / highways.

A large group of community members left on Monday from Santa Fe de Amboró, with the task of requiring the governor to sign that agreement. This Tuesday they were joined by residents of Porongo and La Guardia.
