From Parque Carabobo in Caracas, headquarters of the Public Ministry, from where the Attorney General of the nation, Tarek William Saab, addressed the people, representatives of popular power, social movements, as well as leaders of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) participate in the march called “The honest ones are more”, in support of the actions against corruption undertaken by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, affirmed that the Bolivarian Revolution will emerge stronger than ever, after the actions undertaken by the National Government against corruption.
During his speech at the march against corruption, the honest ones are more!, the national leader said: “I have no doubt that we will come out of here stronger, more united and more willing to face all the battles we have to face, because reason assists us”.
He added that “A revolutionary movement that does not fight against corruption is not a revolutionary movement, because corruption is not a revolutionary value,” he said.
Meléndez: no one is saved here
The mayoress of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, highlighted that there are already several detainees, for which she stated: “no one is going to be saved here, that is why we have to be vigilant, rendering accounts to the people, as Commander Chávez said, a corrupt You can see when you start to change, to see strangely, to dress in one way or another, we have to denounce the people”.
Meléndez showed his support for this fight against corruption, “wherever it comes from, we are here giving our support to President Nicolás Maduro and the support among all of us, because we have to go in this permanent fight everywhere, that is not save any corrupt, who is doing harm to the people”.
In addition, he highlighted the importance of social control because “in all corners of the country it is important that we remain vigilant and fight.”
For his part, the vice president of organization of the PSUV, Pedro Infante,
“The revolution assumes and takes the lead in the fight against corruption undertaken by our president Nicolás Maduro,” he said.
During his speech at the march, he pointed out that from parliament, “after a great debate, an agreement to support President Maduro was approved, in addition, the waiver of the immunity of a deputy was assumed.”
He exalted that “the fight against corruption is a flag of the patriots, that is why we pay tribute to this people for their heroic resistance to the imperial aggressions of recent years.”
Infante stressed that “we differ from the right because we are not going to allow even a bolivar to be stolen from the people, that is why we support the actions of our President Maduro against corruption.”
For his part, the Head of Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, asserted that this march is sending a categorical message: “We are going to continue discovering who they are, because we are not going to allow them to be in our ranks, we Chavistas are honest.” .
He ratified the support for the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, as well as President Maduro for “that due process be respected, that it be investigated, we cannot lose the north of the revolution, here we rest with the people.”
