PEDERNALES.- Organizations from the four provinces of the Enriquillo Region demonstrated today in favor of the Pedernales trust, considering that the initiative will contribute to the development of tourism in the area.
Organizations from Barahona, Independencia, Bahoruco and Pedernales, represented by associations of drivers, motoconchos, housewives, cultural, religious, medical, and technical entities mobilized in support of the trust project for Pedernales.
Protesters from the communities of Jimaní, Neyba, Descubierta, Duvergé, Cabral, Enriquillo, and Paraíso walked the streets and avenues on foot, in motors, vans, trucks, donkeys, and bicycles in favor of the trust for the development of Pedernales.
