Marcelo warns: "The truth will come out like the sun"

Marcelo He stated this Sunday that “the truth will come out like the sun”, in a publication on his social networks where he says goodbye to the Fluminense after termination of your contract on Saturday because of an altercation with the team coach. The former Real Madrid player had published some stories on his Instagram of teammates and members of the club dismissing him from the team, but until now he had not expressed himself, after Fluminense communicated the termination of his contract “by common agreement.”

The full-back thanked his family for their support, the president and employees of the club, his teammates and the ‘tricolors’, in reference to the fans, and recalled “unforgettable moments” that he experienced at Fluminense, such as the first Cup Libertadores in the history of the team. Furthermore, he remembers that his return was “motivated by a sentimental connection” and clarifies that he had “a magnificent period at this club.”

This Saturday, Fluminense announced the termination of his contract by “mutual agreement”, after the former Real Madrid captain argued with the team’s coach, Mano Menezes, during the match against Gremio, which ended with a 2-2 draw. Menezes, in the post-match press conference, stated that he had “heard something that he didn’t like.”
