The candidate for the presidency of the Republic for the Pros, Pablo Marçal, defended today (18) the reduction of taxes on products of the basic food basket to fight hunger in the country. The candidate also proposed, in order to make food cheaper, investments in infrastructure and a reduction in the price of production flow.
“It makes no sense for a country that produces food for more than a billion people to have almost forty million Brazilians struggling to eat. We need to reduce taxes on basic food items, invest in infrastructure, especially in the construction of railways and waterways, to reduce production flow costs and encourage productivity everywhere,” he said.
This morning, Marçal gave an interview to Rádio Máxima FM, from Guaratinguetá (SP). In the early afternoon, he spoke to radio station Litoral Sul FM, from Paranaguá (PR). In the afternoon, he met with the candidate for vice president of the ticket, Pérola Neggra, and recorded videos for the campaign.
