The trial for the death of the former Argentine footballer Diego Armando Maradonawhich was scheduled to begin on June 4 and then on October 1, was postponed for the second consecutive time and is now scheduled for March 11, 2025, judicial sources reported on Thursday.
This was decided on Thursday by the Third Criminal Court of San Isidro (Buenos Aires province), which is investigating the alleged medical negligence in the death of one of the greatest idols of world football, for which eight people are accused, all of them linked to the care provided to the former international player and former Argentine national team coach in his final days.
