the chief of staff, John Manzurand the Minister of Economy, Silvina Batakismet this Tuesday with the governors of San Juan, Sergio Unac; from Entre Rios, Gustavo Bordetand from La Rioja, Ricardo Quintelawho expressed their support for the economic guidelines of the national government.
This Tuesday was the second round of meetings with provincial leaders, after the meeting held the day before with the governors of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillo; Catamarca, Raúl Jalil; from Tucuman, Osvaldo Jaldo; from Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora; and from Neuquen, Omar Gutierrez.
The Treasury Palace, in a press release, indicated that during the meeting the governors provided details on the economic situation of each of its districts and the minister made herself available to accompany the different realities in the context of a federal vision on which it has been working for several years.
On Monday of last week, Batakis, announced a series of measures that tend to achieve fiscal balance with a $600 billion savingsamong other issues.
“We will not spend more than we have. I am a person who believes in fiscal balance and the solvency of the State as a promoter of economic activity,” said Batakis during a press conference held at the Microcine of the Palacio de Hacienda.
