The monthly index of manufacturing activity (IMAM), an indicator that determines the dynamism within this sector in the country, was located in 52.1 in Octoberfor a reduction of 6.59 compared to the 58.7 registered in September, and 6.19 points compared to the 58.3 in which he stood the same month of 2024.
This result shows that, despite the slight contraction of the manufacturing activity In October, this remained above 50, a threshold that indicates that the performance of the industries remains positive.
In October, four of the five variables analyzed showed a downward trend in relation to last September, being the turnover the one that decreased the most, going from 65.5 in September to 52.83 in October, for a contraction of 12.67 points.
