The Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations of Congress will debate this Monday, June 27, starting at 8:00 am, the order of reconsideration for the vote on the report that shielded former de facto president Manuel Merino of the constitutional accusations against him for the deaths of Inti Sotelo and Bryan Pintado.

On the other hand, Jorge Flores (Popular Action), Paúl Gutiérrez Ticona (Teachers’ Block), José Jerí (Somos Perú), Alfredo Pariona (Free Peru), Segundo Quiroz (Teachers’ Block), Reymundo Mercado (Democratic Change) and Elizabeth Taipe ( Peru Libre) voted against Cavero’s report. While María Acuña (Alliance for Progress) abstained.
