the system state assistance led by the Ministry of Education, is aimed at university and technical students, in strategic areas as established by the Manuel Belgrano Scholarships.
In this sense, the Manuel Belgrano Scholarships considers the following areas of study as strategic: food, environment, computing and informatics, energy, gas, mining, mobility and transportation, oil and basic sciences.
The program is aimed at low-income youth, who will receive an economic incentive of $20,000 this year to pursue their careers in the aforementioned areas.
For this 2022, the call will offer up to 36,000 scholarships, with a duration of 12 months, which can be renewable. Payments are made through the National Social Security Administration (ANSES).
How to apply to the Manuel Belgrano Scholarships
The main requirement of the call is to be a regular student of Argentine nationality, enrolled in a national or provincial public university in any of the aforementioned disciplines.
It is also necessary to be between 18 and 30 years old if you are an incoming student, while for current students the requirement is a maximum of 35 years. It is also necessary to have household income of less than 3 minimum wages, vital and mobile.
