The president of the Board of Directors of Grupo Popular, Manuel A. Grullonand the executive president of Dominican Popular Bank, Christopher Paniaguawere recognized among the top five places in the general ranking of the Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation (Merco) 2025.
Grullón occupied the second place and Paniagua the fifthboth with significant advances compared to the 2024 results. Likewise, they led the sector ranking like the banking leaders with best reputation in the Dominican Republic, by positioning itself in the first and second position, respectively.
The recognitions were received by Luis Espinola, Senior Executive Vice President of Domestic and International Businessrepresenting both executives. According to the organization, these awards ratify a leadership model based on strategic vision, business ethics and commitment to the sustainability and development of the country.

Compared to 2024, Manuel A. Grullon rose three positions until reaching second place national ranking. For its part, Christopher Paniagua It rose two places and managed to place itself in fifth position.
