Monte Plata, RD.– Wilkin García Peguero, better known as “Mantequilla”, was taken to the Provincial Hospital of Monte Plata in an emergency this Friday after being injured during an incident on the highway Monte Plata–El Cacique.
According to unofficial information, García Peguero was traveling in a vehicle when he was allegedly chased by several people traveling in a white SUV.

With these individuals, according to versions, would have conflicts that had already been mentioned publicly.
In the middle of the chase, a traffic accident occurred and, later, the occupants of the other vehicle managed to catch up with it, causing the altercation that ended with “Butter” hurt.
The preliminary medical report indicates that he has a wound on the left front part of his head, which required five stitches.

He remains under observation, but his condition is stable and is not serious.
So far, no authority has offered a official report nor has it confirmed the identity of those involved in the incident.
García Peguero became known in 2022 after leading Inversiones 3.14, in Sabana Grande de Boyáa case that generated great national repercussion and judicial proceedings for alleged financial irregularities.
The authorities are expected to begin research to determine what really happened in this incident.
