The Brazilian Manoel Messias won this Saturday (3) the title of the Valencia (Spain) stage of the Triathlon World Cup. To achieve this feat, the athlete from Brazil completed the sprint (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running) in 50min40s.
After the victory, the Brazilian expressed his joy with a publication on his social networks: “Very happy to see the work appear. Many people to thank. My second win in world cup [Copa do Mundo] and maybe now I can answer what a perfect day would be. Thank you all for the messages.”
After the 25-year-old athlete from Ceará, Spaniard Mário Mola and North American Matthew McElroy crossed the finish line. The Valencia stage of the Triathlon World Cup counts points towards the search for a spot for the 2024 Games in Paris (France).
