A few days ago, a private conversation emerged, which was recorded, in which deputy Eduardo Lust said that “half of the members of Cabildo Abierto were torturers and are here,” according to what was reported by the weekly Search.
Faced with such expressions by Lust, the senator and leader of Cabildo Abierto, the former commander in chief of the Army, Guido Manini Ríos, dedicated part of his radio hearing to refer to the sayings of his party’s legislator.
Complaint
He expressed that what Lust said was “outrageous, and it is clear that the deputy could not have expressed it seriously, because if he thought about it, there is no explanation for why he has remained in the party since then or has not filed the relevant criminal complaint, especially if we consider the high democratic sensitivity that we know he has, and his notorious legal training”.
