Despite the criticism, Manini Ríos pointed out that the measures he announced President “they are going in the right direction and they mean a relief for many people.
Lacalle Pou announced a reduction in personal income tax (which will benefit 63,000 people) and also IASS (which will benefit 20,000), as well as “a set of measures that deepen the benefits granted to micro and small businesses.
Regarding the latter, the president told the General Assembly that it was a “claim from one of the members of the coalition” in relation to the Cabildo Abierto. “Companies that are the heart of the country’s economic engine,” added Lacalle Pou.
Manini also pointed to the IASS, a tax that Lacalle Pou assured that it is intended to be reversed, as promised in the electoral campaign and later reflected in the document Compromiso por el país, which established the bases of the multicolored coalition.

Manini Ríos criticizes the coalition
