The National Risk Management System carried out maneuvers to extinguish the fire in the waste lagoon located at the Cardón de Paraguaná Refinery, in the state of Falcón.
The information was released by the Deputy Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, M/G Carlos Pérez Ampueda, through his Twitter account, @cperezampueda, where he stated that it was confined for extinction, with no possibility of spread.
