In that line, closed spaces, where there are crowds, in public passenger transport, or where there may be people who are vulnerable, the use of the protection measure was recommended again.
“In health centers there is a multiplicity of factors that make it a place of risk. In waiting rooms, in pharmacies, in doctors’ offices, there may be factors that can predetermine contagion. That is why we established the obligation”, said Satdjián, consulted by the press.
The new regulations
The mask is mandatory for a person who, without an established diagnosis, presents respiratory symptoms and be in contact with other people.
Its use is mandatory for the entry of health centersboth users and companions or providers.
It is also mandatory for health personnel who regularly attend to the public, and officials in charge of caring for “vulnerable groups”.
The MSP also ordered the recommendation of its use to those who, without presenting symptoms: are users of collective transport, at all levels; are users of shelters or detention facilities; are in spaces where “the occurrence of a acute respiratory disease outbreak; are in the care of unvaccinated persons (including children 5 years of age); are in closed spaces with agglomeration of people; engaged in the preparation or handling of food.
