Until October 11, artists from different regions of the country fill the municipality’s murals with color.
The municipality of Manaure, La Guajirais filled with color and creativity with the realization of the ‘Manaurean Fest’an urban art festival that seeks to promote the cultural, social and economic development of the region through mural painting and local artistic expressions.
Until the October 11artists from different parts of the country come together in this meeting that turns the streets of the municipality into a true open-air gallery. Through the murals, the creators reflect the natural wealth of the area, the salt industrythe wayuu traditions and the biodiversity that characterize this part of the Colombian Caribbean.

Artists who come from different parts of the country They affirm that this is an opportunity to grow artistically, to show art and open up to a world of work.
“The Manaurean Fest is not only an opportunity to show the art that exists in Colombia and in La Guajirabut also an opportunity to connect with youth and childhood and open in them that interest and that door to the artistic world. Let them see in the art a way to express oneself and grow professionally“said Laura, one of the artists.

With this bet, Manaure hopes to consolidate itself as a key point on the map of urban art in Colombia and project its image beyond its borders.
“We are a bit transgressive for people who are not used to seeing this. We have to change that imaginary, all these types of events and really demonstrate what is beautiful that this type of art offers,” said one of the artists from Cali.
The artistic samples in this third edition of the Manaurean Fest, highlights the culture, biodiversity, the magical realism of Gabo and of course, the dreams and the Wayúu indigenous woman.
