The Mexican ambassador in Peru, Pablo Monroy, traveled to the Cusco region, where dozens of Mexicans are stranded due to the closure of roads and airports as a result of the protests over the removal of Pedro Castillo as president. The diplomat said on social networks that the embassy has helped the nationals to get food and medicine, as well as manage their return to Lima and, later, to Mexico. In a video, Monroy asked them to be patient, as he pointed out that steps are being taken to repatriate them.
