The wildfires currently ravaging Los Angeles County generate a wave of solidarity in the entertainment world. The Mexican band Maná and the singer Alejandro Fernández raised their voices and offered support to the communities affected by this emergency.
Through an emotional video published on social networks, Fher Olvera, vocalist of Maná, expressed his concern about the seriousness of the situation.
“Los Angeles is like hell, with the devastating fires they are suffering… it is tremendous how the fire devastates everything,” Olvera commented.
In addition, he called on the Latin artistic community to unite in support of the city.

“We first encourage the Latin artistic community to donate, because Los Angeles has always treated all artists well. and for Maná it has been family (…) let’s do our bit. Los Angeles, Maná loves you, we are with you,” he said.
The band also shared on their social networks a list of organizations with which they are collaborating, including the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, World Central Kitchen and the Pasadena Community Job Center.
Olvera invited his followers to join the cause: “Let’s do our bit. Los Angeles, Maná loves you, we are with you.”
For its part, Alejandro Fernández, known as “El Potrillo”, also expressed his support through Instagram, where he published an image accompanied by the message: “Los Angeles, I love you.”
“I have so many memories of this great city and the fans who have always welcomed me with great affection. “It breaks my heart to see the situation: the fires, the loss of life and property, the suffering,” he wrote.
Fernández announced that he made a donation to those affected and to the fire department fighting the fire, channeling their help through the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Wildfire Relief Fund organization.
Solidarity has not only come from the Latin sphere. Celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Kylie Jenner, Sharon Stone and Halle Berry have also contributed financially to support emergency and reconstruction efforts.
