Santo Domingo Oeste.– The Fourth Collegiate Court of Santo Domingo Oeste condemned 30 years of jail to Edwin Feliz Jhonsfound guilty of set fire to your neighbor’s house in an event that occurred on September 1, 2024 on the Nueva Circunvalación highway, municipality of The Alcarrizos.
The sentence was handed down by the judges Leonarda Quezada, Sandra Josefina Cruz and Clara Yoselin Riveraafter accepting the evidence presented by the Public Ministry, represented by the prosecutors Sugely Valdez and Nicasio Pulinario.

According to the prosecutor’s investigation Argenis Gutierrezseveral eyewitnesses confirmed that Féliz Jhons fled the scene after starting the fire, but was arrested by neighborswho detained him in a commercial establishment until the arrival of a police patrol.
The court found him guilty of violating the article 434 of the Dominican Penal Codewhich typifies the crime of arson, and ordered that he serve the sentence in the La Victoria Deprivation of Liberty Center (CPL).
