Man who died in traffic accident had two stab wounds

This morning Cirilo Marcos Acuña Ortiz (24) who was riding a motorcycle on Las Castañas street in the Isla Bogado area, lost control of his bicycle and crashed into a column.

CCTV footage of the area captured the moment Acuña Ortiz crashed. For the police, the case was an accident since the motorcycle fell into a pothole and the driver seems to lose control.

However, the prosecutor Sofía Galeano in the afternoon, after knowing the results of the autopsy, pointed out that the forensic experts found that Cirilo Acuña had a stab wound to the chest and another to the back, so it is presumed that due to these injuries could have lost control of his motorcycle.

What the prosecutor clarified is that the cause of death was the crash that caused the driver severe head injuries. But now the investigation turns in relation to finding out who was the one who injured Acuña.

The police also reported that Cirilo Acuña has an arrest warrant for invasion of property.
