Man was victim of tortoleros while having dinner with his family

The Crio. Sabino López, from the 10th Asunción Police Station, confirmed that the event occurred at 9:00 p.m. yesterday, Thursday, on Santísima Trinidad, when criminals stole a backpack stored in an Amarok van, belonging to a man who was with his family in a Pizza shop.

Upon hearing the alarm, the owner went out to verify and noticed the theft of his belongings, saw the thieves escaping in a Chevrolet car and began to chase them in his own vehicle.

On the way, he met agents from the Lince Group, to whom he gave the characteristics of the tortoleros and a chase began for several blocks.

“When they got to a very short distance, the author removed the weapon that was in the owner’s backpack and pointed it at the police, then the Linces fired until the thieves made a sudden maneuver and crashed into a cordon towards the Independiente club,” commented the police chief, in an interview with 1080 AM.

Finally, those responsible were arrested. The car they were in received four bullet wounds. In addition, the criminals were referred to the Trauma Hospital.
