Man was shot when he prevented Bs 50 thousand from being stolen in the Abasto area

A man was shot twice in the Cooper neighborhood, near the old Abasto market. The assailants tried to steal Bs 50,000 that he had just withdrawn from a financial institution this Monday at noon. The two robbers were traveling by motorcycle and fled. The police are working on his search.

According to the preliminary report of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc), the violent act registered on Galaxia Street in the Cooper neighborhood, which is located near the old Abasto market, on the city’s third ring road.

The antisocials followed the victim out of the bank. They ambushed him on a quiet street when they approached and They directly shot him at close range. However, the affected person ran to his vehicle, which was parked on Galaxia Street, to prevent them from taking the bag with his money.

The injured man was helped by witnesses and neighbors in the area. They transferred him to a private clinic, located on the third ring road and double lane to La Guardia.

Early medical reports indicate that He has two bullet wounds in the abdomen, one of them with an exit hole in the back, for which he is undergoing surgery.

Felcc agents arrived at the place where the victim is hospitalized to find out his state of health and proceed with taking statements from some witnesses.
