Man tries to burn himself in the outskirts of La Moneda

In the morning hours of this Friday, a subject in a wheelchair tried to burn himself with an accelerating liquid – still unknown – outside the Palacio de La Moneda.

The man, who was carrying out the action on Morandé street, was arrested by Carabineros personnel, who interrupted the action.

As a result of the event, SAMU personnel arrived at the scene to take the data of the affected person, a 46-year-old man in a wheelchair.

It should be noted that this is the second similar event in a week, since last Friday a man caught fire inside his car in the middle of Alameda street. As the hours passed, it was recorded that the subject was Mario Carrión, brother of Pedro Carrión, a businessman who was kidnapped and murdered on January 3 of this year.
