A man tried to take his own life this Monday morning by jumping onto the train rails at the María Montez station, of the Santo Domingo Metro.
The individual identified as Ángel Daniel Hernández stated that he committed the act to draw the attention of the authorities since they want to evict him from his home and despite innumerable complaints he has not received support.
Given what happened, agents of the Specialized Body for Metro Security (Cesmet) rushed to rescue Hernández and the trains in circulation were stopped to avoid any fatal outcome, thereby causing a delay in all of Line 2 of the aforementioned means of transport. , reported the Santo Domingo Metro through its Twitter account.
