A woman was killed this Sunday by several shots allegedly caused by her romantic partner, who then committed suicide. The event occurred in El Sano sectorfrom the El Valle municipality, province Greater Herd.
The victim was identified as Liseth Cheril Javier Valera, Dominican, from 24 years of age, resident in the city Juan Bosch, in the Santo Domingo Este municipality of the Santo Domingo province, who died due to multiple wounds by firearm, according to the preliminary diagnosis.
According to official information, the alleged aggressor was his sentimental couple, Franklin de León SánchezDominican, 42 years old, resident in the same home where the incident occurred. After killing the young woman, the man would have shot himself in the head with the same weapon that the shots were fired at the victim.
Bodies were found in a house
The incident was reported to authorities around 11:00 in the morningwhen it was reported about two people lying inside a house located in the La Colonia street of the aforementioned sector.
The National Emergency System 9-1-1the National Police and the Fire brigade.
- Franklin de León Sánchez was transferred alive to the Municipal Hospital of El Valle, where he died while receiving medical attention.
The case remains under investigation by the National Police and the Public Ministrywhile the bodies were removed by the corresponding authorities for the legal purposes of the place
