Santo Domingo Este.- A man was convicted to 20 years in prison for having sexually violated a one year old infant of age, according to the decision of the judges of the First Collegiate Court of Santo Domingo Este.
The sentence was imposed on Jimmy Reinoso Paniaguaby judges Josefina Ubiera Guerrero, Yury Cuevas de la Cruz and Ariella Cedano Núñez, for the acts committed to the detriment of the infant, whose name is omitted to protect his identity.
The file prepared by the investigating prosecutor María Dominga Sánchez, reveals that the baby’s father reported that the accused, whom he left in charge of the child’s care, sexually raped the infant.

He stated that while he was working, he received a call from the defendant today, but when he answered the call, he immediately hung up and then sent a message to the child’s mother, telling her that the infant, carelessly, left the house and He fell in the yard, but when he checked he had blood on his private part, which is why his mother took him to the doctor, who upon checking him determined that he had been sexually abused.
During the trial, the Public Ministry, represented by the trial prosecutor Ana Basora, showed the court elements of expert evidence, procedural and documentary acts, which demonstrate the criminal responsibility of the convicted person.
